The Netherlands is well accessible by many means of transportation, such as trains, busses and planes.

By plane

The most important airport of Amsterdam and The Netherlands is Schiphol. Located 20 minutes from the city centre by train, this airport provides you with perfect acces to the city. Furthermore, it has frequent connecting flights to European cities, and host a number of well known European budget airlines. We strongly advise booking flights early to secure more convenient fares.

The Netherlands does have other airports, most notably located near either Rotterdam or Eindhoven, but traveling to amsterdam from there may take several additional hours.

Additionaly, The airlines of SkyTeam, Official Alliance Network for Amsterdam 2012, offer attractive airfares for participants. To benefit from these special offers, visit www.skyteam.com/GlobalMeetings and enter the Event ID found in the delegate information booklet, which will be distributed shortly.

By train

Amsterdam Central Station is connected with many European cities. Furthermore, high speed trains to and from France (Talis) arrive at this station.
